Today we were very grateful to Tamati Coffey - Labour MP for Waiariki for taking time out of his busy schedule to come and speak at our Matariki M?ngai : Living Book event at Rotorua Library Te Aka Mauri. As a living book, Tamati answered audience questions about different times and aspects of his life, and his willingness to be incredibly open meant that the experience for everyone in the audience was truly special. From his childhood to being on ‘What Now’, from learning te reo M?ori to his thoughts on leadership, and from travel and owning a bar to politics, his entertaining and inspiring presentation covered it all. Kia ora rawa atu - Many thanks Tamati. We look forward to welcoming you back to Te Aka Mauri again soon. #TeAkaMauri #NaumaiHaeremai #Matariki
